We enjoyed good, competitive curling over two days. Five rinks played each other on a round robin basis, each game being over four ends.
After a close final Team Stuart (Jim Stuart, Bill Rennie, Ian Shaw, Archie Rintoul) emerged as winners of the Dave Martin Trophy.
A Team Points competition ran alongside the main competition and was won by Team Linton (Bill Linton, Derek Arnott, Mike Caffyn, Jim Anderson).
The highlight of the dinner was “The Ballad of Stranraer “, composed and delivered by Tom Mitchell, henceforth known as the Boreland Bard.
