Since the 1991 / 1992 season the Trophy was a bottle of Highland Park Whisky, donated by Andy Stevenson, Boreland CC. Following Andy`s death in 2018, Boreland donated a trophy in his memory for this challenge. It is named the Andy Stevenson Quaich.
Each season, the challenge is played over two legs. One is played at Kinross Curling and the other at Murrayfield Curling Rink.
The winning rink is determined by the aggregate score over the two legs, based on a points up, ends up basis.
